Effektif offers a cloud BPM service that lets non-technical users build automated workflows via a shared task list and a graphical process builder based on BPMN. The core collaborative task list is offered free, while a paid "Team Workflow" edition enables basic cloud-service workflows and an "Enterprise Process Management" edition includes on-premise integration capabilities and analytics. At launch the product includes task coordination features, with Drive, Box and Salesforce integrations planned in the coming weeks. The team consists of two full-time developers, a part-time designer and marketing personnel, plus founder and CEO Tom Baeyens, who is based in Belgium. The company received a €1.2M investment in March 2013 to get things going, and Signavio's leadership is actively coaching the team. Effektif is targeting the existing $5 billion BPM and workflow market rather than building a consumer product first.
