Elements is an independent renewable-energy developer founded in 2016 and based in Montpellier that builds and operates greenfield solar, onshore wind and run-of-river hydro projects. The company pursues a participatory, territory-focused model including crowd investment, municipal engagement and consultation of local stakeholders. Elements is developing an integrated offering it calls Smart Renewable Generator (SRG) to combine solar, wind and hydro outputs and provide smoother decarbonized supply. It currently employs about 100 people across offices in Montpellier, Paris, Lyon, Nantes, Bordeaux and Guadeloupe and plans to double headcount by 2030. Elements is accelerating international expansion in markets where it already operates, notably Italy, Finland and Germany. The firm emphasizes employee share ownership and three ESG priorities: reducing CO2 emissions from power production, supporting local acceptability of projects, and promoting staff shareholding.
