Emmi
Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico
Overview
Emmi offers a blended model that combines printed books, math manipulatives, multimedia content and an intuitive AI platform to modernize classroom instruction in Mexico. Its software automates evaluations, reports and parent communications, allowing teachers to reclaim 10–15 hours of weekly administrative time while tailoring activities to each student. The product also tackles Mexico’s deep math-achievement gap with weekend quizzes and games that reinforce concepts and create study habits. In its first five months on the market, Emmi signed up more than 100 private preschool campuses and plans to roll out a primary-school program by late 2025. Management aims to serve 200–300 schools by the 2025-2026 academic year and extend into Colombia, Peru and Argentina starting in 2027. The company operates with a fully remote Latin American team. To date it has secured an initial angel round exceeding MXN 30 million and is now seeking a USD 3–5 million Series A to scale technology, content and infrastructure.
