Enact Systems builds two-sided software that lets salespeople remotely design, price and sell solar systems while giving customers tools to manage installations and track energy and financial outcomes. Its Installer app uses energy modeling and satellite imaging to produce 3D rooftop and ground-solar models and can generate detailed proposals in as little as five minutes. The Enact Platform supports Digital Proposals that prompt prospective customers for bills or usage data and tracks end-consumer interactions in real time. A consumer-facing app monitors generation and connectivity, translates electricity generation into dollars saved, and lets customers compare actual savings to estimates. Enact says it has thousands of users in more than 20 countries and processes $1.5 billion in projects annually, serving installers from small residential teams to large commercial operators. The founders launched the company in 2014 to reduce soft costs and help solar businesses scale sales and operations through predictive analytics and an end-to-end workflow.
