Overview
Enalees builds rapid isothermal PCR (LAMP) tests that allow veterinarians to diagnose infectious diseases on-site without sending samples to external laboratories. The company markets more than 50 tests across two ranges, Epona® (horses) and Astéria® (dogs and cats), able to detect over 20 infectious diseases. R&D and production are located at the Genopole Biocluster in Essonne since 2016; current manufacturing capacity is about one million tubes per year and the company employs 43 people. Enalees plans to industrialize by opening a new factory in Essonne to raise capacity to four million tubes annually. It is also developing connected analysis software for laboratory environments and intends to establish a North American subsidiary targeting the companion-animal market. The company frames its mission around One Health and expanding internationally while scaling production and innovation.
