Enchanted Rock builds, installs, owns and operates microgrids and natural gas gensets for commercial and industrial customers through its On Demand Electric Reliability product. The company aggregates those gensets into virtual power plants that deliver ancillary services to the grid, generating revenue to offset microgrid costs. ERock positions its offering as highly reliable, ultra-clean and ultra-quiet backup power at a small fraction of the price of a standard backup system. Founded in 2006, the company has delivered over 67 MW of customer microgrids in the Greater Houston Area and 160 MW of grid-reliability distributed generation systems across Texas.
