Endorse.me

Copenhagen, Hovedstaden, Denmark

Overview

Endorse.me is a cloud-based platform that enables college students to create confidential profiles containing resumes, professor recommendations, and expiring job offers, and to selectively share that information with chosen employers. Founded last year by James Ingallinera and Trey Griffith, the service launched on 17 U.S. campuses including Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Duke, Berkeley, Notre Dame, Dartmouth, UVA and Brown. At launch it is targeting the financial and technology sectors and lists hiring-manager interest from firms such as Airbnb, Blackstone, Citi, Pinterest, Salesforce, Twitter and others. Students apply for access, solicit recommendations, and can update interview and offer statuses so employers can monitor candidate progress year-round. The service is currently free for students, employers, and recommenders; the company plans to monetize later by charging employers for access. Endorse.me also plans to begin developing mobile apps over the summer and expects to have them ready in the fall.
