Enerdigit
Immeuble Le Rhuys 2 Quai François Mitterrand, Nantes, Pays de la Loire, 44200, France
Overview
Enerdigit, founded in 2015 and based in Nantes, develops demand‑flexibility (effacement) solutions that let industrial customers reduce or pause electricity consumption to relieve the grid. The company designs and manufactures a site‑installed hardware boîtier in Nantes and offers a proprietary application that streams real‑time consumption data for supervision and optimization. Enerdigit sells délestage to grid actors and remunerates industrials for consumption reductions, positioning its service as an alternative to adding fossil generation and as a way to integrate intermittent renewables. The company has contracted with more than 300 industrial clients covering roughly 1,000 sites, employs about 20 people, and expects revenue to exceed €20 million in 2024. Enerdigit installed the largest battery in Loire‑Atlantique in February as an in‑house project and is accelerating development of battery storage projects with end‑to‑end control from land prospecting to operation. Founder and president Bénédicte Pléau leads the company’s strategy to scale its offering across small and medium industrial sites.
