ENERSENS

46 rue Joseph Jacquard, Rochetoirin, Isère, 38110, France

Overview

ENERSENS is a PCAS subsidiary that designs and manufactures high-performance thermal insulation products — aerogel beads, panels and blankets — using its own patented production technologies in Bourgoin-Jallieu, France. The company aims to become a leading manufacturer and key contributor to the energy transition by scaling mass production of super-insulating materials. ENERSENS leads the H2020 HOMESKIN European project and participates in collaborative research programs with institutes such as Mines Paristech, INSA, CNRS and CEA/INES. The business is rolling out industrial production facilities for padded materials and super-insulating panels, and a super-insulating granules manufacturing unit was scheduled to come into production by the end of the year. The capital increase announced will provide funding to implement these industrial capacities and support commercialization at scale. ENERSENS positions its technology as a solution for energy-saving improvements to buildings and broader decarbonization efforts.
