Enkei develops materials made from reclaimed construction waste aimed at architectural surfaces and interior applications. One of its first products, ReCeramix™, is produced from more than 90% reclaimed waste and offers a stone-like aesthetic with a much lower environmental impact. The company plans to position its solutions as alternatives to materials such as concrete, marble, and terrazzo. Enkei will use recent funding to advance R&D and commercialize ReCeramix™. The startup is leading an Interreg-funded project to create circular material flows in the construction sector. Co-founder Lovisa Sunnerholm is publicly cited on the opportunity presented by construction waste.
