Enlaps develops Tikee, a timelapse video device equipped with dual 4K cameras for site monitoring, events, and tourism. The company has sold roughly 2,000 units across 52 countries. Founded in 2015 and based in Grenoble, Enlaps has expanded its product line with two new models, Tikee PRO 2 and Tikee PRO 2+. The Tikee PRO 2+ is a high-end, GPS-enabled 6K model that the company says offers twice the autonomy of the previous model. The new devices are priced at €900 and €1,300 excluding VAT. Enlaps recently raised €3 million in funding to support its product launches and growth. Enlaps builds the Tikee line of solar-powered, weatherproof timelapse cameras that integrate capture and data transfer. The regular Tikee has two lenses for an ultra-wide 220-degree field of view and WiFi connectivity; Tikee Pro adds 4G and GPS for remote footage retrieval. The company is also rolling out a broader infrastructure to make assembling and editing timelapse videos quick and easy, integrating the full workflow. Enlaps completed a successful IndieGoGo campaign that raised $250,000 to support the Tikee camera. Both products are scheduled to ship in April, with the Tikee priced at $750 and the Tikee Pro at $900.
