Entalpic is a Paris, France–based startup that applies generative AI to materials discovery for the chemical industry. Its AI platform designs catalysts to optimize chemical processes in areas such as energy storage, fertilizer production, and pollution control. The company aims to decarbonize industrial chemistry by blending open and proprietary research. Entalpic raised €8.5M in Seed funding to support expansion of operations, further development efforts, and global growth. The round was led by Breega, Cathay Innovation & Felicis, alongside a group of individual backers. Entalpic was co-founded by Mathieu Galtier (CEO), Victor Schmidt (CTO) and Alexandre Duval (CSO).
