Founded in 2018 in Aix-en-Provence, Entent is a deep-tech company focused on recovering waste heat between 60 °C and 150 °C. Its core product, Pulse, replaces the traditional turbine with a piston mechanism, enabling the conversion of roughly 10 % of captured low-grade heat into electricity. The company plans to install its first industrial demonstrator on a Michelin site in Q1 2026 and targets deploying several dozen units within the next three years. Management views 2024 as a pivotal year to secure initial contracts and move toward full industrialisation. Entent ultimately intends to pursue a larger follow-on fundraise to scale manufacturing. The €2.4 million capital injection announced in January 2024 is the firm’s first external financing and will fund product industrialisation and early deployments.
