Entos builds OrbNet, an AI-driven platform that combines machine learning and automated synthetic development to design small-molecule therapeutics. The company says OrbNet delivers a thousand-fold acceleration in molecular property prediction while requiring 100x less training data. Entos reports meaningful customer traction with a growing portfolio of partnerships across pharmaceuticals, chemicals and materials. With the new funding the company plans to accelerate OrbNet development, integrate the technology with robotic synthesis and high-throughput experimentation, and expand hiring of science and engineering talent. Earlier this year Entos added Tim Cernak as Co‑Founder and Chief Scientific Officer and Sarah Trice as Co‑Founder and Chief Operating Officer, and it maintains a Scientific Advisory Board that includes Frances Arnold. Entos was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in San Diego, with a new HQ in UCSD Science Park.
