Entro Security builds an award-winning platform for Non-Human Identity (NHI) lifecycle management, secrets security and Non-Human Identity Detection and Response. The platform centralizes and contextualizes NHIs and secrets across cloud services, SaaS applications and on-premises systems, providing visibility, real-time detection and automated remediation. Entro’s product enriches business context to track owners, permissions, usage and rotation, helps prioritize and remediate risks, and supports compliance with standards such as SOC2 and GDPR. The company says NHIs can outnumber human employees by 45 times and that its tooling prevents exposure and misuse through detection and response. Entro works with customers including Booking, SolarWinds, Elastic, KAYAK and Regatta and plans to use new funding to scale global operations and meet growing demand. The company is headquartered in Boston and has received industry recognition, including Gartner Cool Vendor and other awards. Entro builds an end-to-end security platform that helps enterprises discover, analyze and protect secrets like account credentials, certificates and API keys. The service correlates found secrets to workloads and provides a single-pane-of-glass dashboard that helps CISOs and security teams prioritize remediation based on context. It integrates with existing vaults, collaboration tools, cloud environments, CI/CD systems and SaaS platforms (including Confluence) to surface where secrets are stored and used. The company was co-founded by CEO Itzik Alvas and CTO Adam Cheriki, who first met during their time in the Israeli security forces; the founders previously held security and SRE roles at companies including Microsoft, IBM, Javelin Networks, Symantec and Broadcom. One of Entro's key differentiators is its context-aware, end-to-end monitoring approach, which the founders say allows the product to prioritize issues developers and security teams should focus on. The company announced a $6 million seed round as its current disclosed financing event.
