Entrupy is an NYC-based developer of artificial intelligence-based technology for authenticating high-end luxury goods. It provides a hardware-enabled SaaS patented platform that uses computer vision algorithms and microscopy to authenticate handbags and wallets from brands including Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Hermès. The company issues an Entrupy Certificate of Authenticity that is backed by a financial guarantee. Entrupy was launched in 2016 by Vidyuth Srinivasan (CEO), Ashlesh Sharma and Lakshminarayanan Subramanian. To date, the company has authenticated $14 million worth of goods. It plans to use funding to accelerate technology development, increase product coverage, improve hardware and expand strategic partnerships worldwide.
