Overview
ENvizion develops the ENVue electromagnetic navigation system to guide enteral feeding tube placement and reduce the risks of blind placement. The ENVue device provides axial, frontal, and lateral views plus directional guidance and patient body mapping to track the tube tip and maintain accuracy despite patient movement. The company says the device can cut usual placement procedure time in half, improving staff efficiency and reducing potentially fatal misplacements. ENvizion announced a nationwide agreement to provide its devices to one of the largest private U.S. hospital networks with more than 100 hospitals. The company is backed by $18 million in investment from private medtech backers, family offices, and the Technion Venture Capital fund. ENvizion was founded in 2013 and is based in Tel Aviv with U.S. distribution headquarters in Minneapolis.
