EPACK Durable (EDPL) manufactures the full range of room air conditioners—including window and split units with fixed-speed and inverter technology—and small household appliances such as induction cooktops, mixer grinders, and water dispensers. The company supplies products to key Indian and multinational brands and reports installed capacity of over 2.4 million RAC units and two million SHA units. EDPL is pursuing capacity expansion and backward integration of multiple components to localize supply and support the Atma Nirbhar Bharat/Make in India agenda. The company targets raising RAC capacity to 3.6 million units per annum by next year and is adding capacity at existing and new locations. EDPL is building a greenfield manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, expected to be commissioned next year, and executing a brownfield expansion at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan to be commissioned by the end of the current financial year. Management says new funding will deepen manufacturing and R&D capabilities to capture growing domestic and export demand.
