Drums Food International Pvt. Ltd makes Epigamia Greek yoghurt and operates the Hokey Pokey ice-cream brand. The company was founded in 2008 and introduced Greek yoghurt under Epigamia in 2015 as part of its diversification. It sells ice-creams through about 1,500 outlets, including Godrej Nature's Basket, Foodhall, Big Bazaar, Reliance Fresh and e-commerce platforms, and runs seven company-owned parlours plus four franchised parlours in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai. Epigamia is available at roughly 300 retail points in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore and is slated for launch in Delhi. After revising pricing and distribution, Drums Food doubled net sales to Rs 5.2 crore in 2014-15 from Rs 2.2 crore the prior year. The company will use new funding to hire professionals, expand production capacity and invest in its supply chain.
