Overview

Equalum provides a platform that manages data pipelines, integrating with existing infrastructure to move and transform streaming and batch data into AI systems, data lakes, and data warehouses. The product leverages open source technologies such as Apache Spark and Kafka and offers a drag-and-drop, no-code UI for building pipeline logic, triggers, enrichment, and filtering. Equalum emphasizes real-time data processing to help organizations make decisions on current data rather than historical snapshots. The company declined to disclose revenue or customer-base metrics and has said it does not plan to hire this year. Management cites a large market opportunity, referencing a projected data-integration market growth to $29.16 billion by 2029. Investors have continued to back the business despite modest growth details being withheld. Equalum builds a real-time data ingestion platform that collects data from a variety of enterprise sources and centralizes it for analytics. The platform streams data in real time into analytic environments to feed AI, machine learning, and traditional business intelligence workloads. The company says its solution has been adopted quickly by Fortune 100 customers; its first customer was GE. Equalum was founded in 2015 in Tel Aviv, maintains R&D there, and runs sales, marketing and management out of Silicon Valley. Today’s round raised $18M in a Series B and brings total funding to $25M. Management plans to expand beyond its original set of several dozen large customers and accelerate growth against legacy vendors. Equalum is a Sunnyvale, CA and Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of an Enterprise Data Beaming platform that enables enterprises to manage the flow of data across systems. Its Data Beaming technology teleports data across the enterprise, connecting any source to any target application or system to unlock real-time insights. The platform is applied in manufacturing and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) use cases and in other verticals including finance and media. The company currently works with industrial, financial, and media enterprises. Led by CEO and co-founder Nir Livneh, Equalum said it will use the funds to expand operations and its business reach. The company closed a $5M Series A financing.
