The company was founded in 2016 by Adam Torkelsson, Per Eriksson, and Therese von Hackwitz and is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Equilab says it has 750,000 users worldwide. The business is built around a mobile app for horse riders. Recently the company secured a SEK 7 million capital investment from Backing Minds. Viktor Sellman of Backing Minds will join Equilab's board of directors.
