Equip offers an employer-funded digital financial coach subscription plan that combines a proprietary suite of algorithms with access to certified, independent financial planners and coaches. The platform generates personalized suggestions and courses of action to help employees meet financial goals and reduce stress related to personal finances. Founders include former J.P. Morgan executives Toon Peek and Jan Klinkhamer and McKinsey associate Jan Cees van Senden. Since launching late last year Equip has signed Dutch clients including War Child, Ticketswap, and Rituals. The company cites research and employer-cost evidence — including an estimate of at least €5,000 in hidden costs per employee per year — to justify employer investment in financial well-being.
