EquityLock Solutions launched its Home Price Protection product in May to give homeowners protections against future market declines of up to 20 percent. The company has established distribution relationships with RE/MAX International, Keller Williams Realty and Real Living, and is working with homebuilders including Stonecrest Homes and Pardee Homes to add the product to new homes. Approximately 200,000 real estate agents are being certified to introduce Home Price Protection to buyers, sellers and builders. After adding the product to new homes, Stonecrest Homes saw an increase in sales within two weeks; Pardee is rolling the offering out to selected homes in selected communities. EquityLock’s executive team includes professionals with experience across real estate, mortgage lending, insurance, tax and law. The company says its goal is to accelerate expansion and restore confidence in home values nationwide.
