EquityMetrix offers a cloud-based data warehouse and proprietary software that combines image processing, machine learning, spatial processing and data mining to analyze and organize E&P records. Its platform detects anomalies, uncovers missing data, and identifies poorly documented or incorrectly mapped assets and agreement terms out of compliance. The company focuses on revenue recovery and land data assurance for operating companies, mineral interest owners and energy investors. EquityMetrix says it recovers on average 1% of total revenue and has unlocked tens of millions of dollars in unclaimed revenue for clients. Since inception it has organized millions of documents on more than 50,000 wells and reconciled tens of thousands of leases, deeds and contracts. The new capital is intended to accelerate development of new services to help clients identify revenue underpayments and misallocations.
