Eraser is a year-old collaboration startup that launched in March and builds an all-in-one ideation platform for technical teams, particularly engineers and data scientists. The product combines a visual canvas for diagrams, wireframes and annotated math, a native note editor that embeds visuals into documentation, and real-time audio chat. The company reports it has attracted more than 1 million free users since launch, from five-person startups to the largest global tech companies. Eraser has raised $4 million in seed funding led by Caffeinated Capital. Monetization is planned for next year with a per-user monthly subscription model. The company is partnering with virtual office platforms like Kumospace and Gather for distribution and plans product work such as audio recording/search and programmatic diagram-generation features to better serve technical workflows.
