Escrowpay provides digital escrow and cash-optimization solutions and has processed transactions exceeding Rs. 15,000 crore for over 3,000 clients, including SMEs, unicorns, listed enterprises and digital-first businesses. The company launched BizSuraksha, an industry-first on-the-go, on-demand self-serve digital escrow platform designed for startups and SMEs that lack tech teams. Escrowpay secured the first digital escrow regulatory fintech authorization from IFSCA, Gift City. The firm is pursuing cross-border expansion with activity underway in the UAE and the UK. The company says it has been building its solutions since 2015 and is using new capital to accelerate growth and product innovation. Escrowpay is a payments-technology company that pioneered digital escrow solutions in India, initially focused on consumer real-estate escrow and later pivoting to B2B escrow-as-a-service around two years ago. The company offers an in-house digital stack with instant identity checks, digital contracts and signatures, integrated banking, payment-gateway and trusteeship services, and pay-ins/pay-outs across multiple payment rails. Escrowpay serves more than 500 enterprises, including unicorns, listed companies and digital-first businesses, and collaborates with multiple RBI-regulated banks via an open architecture. Management says the company is net cash flow positive and has seen rapid growth over the last two years. It claims to have clocked almost INR 6,000 Cr of total payment volume (TPV) to date and is targeting over US $2bn TPV in the next 12 months. The firm plans to scale rapidly within India and expand to key overseas geographies, with cross-border transactions identified as the next major focus area.
