Esper

3600 136th Pl SE, Bellevue, WA, 98006, United States

Overview

Esper builds decision-support software focused on calendar management for executive assistants. Its debut products are Esper Scheduling, a Chrome plugin that saves meeting preferences, sends daily calendar digests and converts emails into task lists, and Esper TimeStats, an analytics layer that classifies calendar events to show where time is allocated. By highlighting patterns and potential time waste, the suite enables assistants and executives to make smarter scheduling decisions. Although assistants are the primary users, the tools are marketed to any professional seeking better control over their schedule and are already in use by assistants at Dropbox, Stanford Law School, Uber and Code for America. CEO Andrew Lee, previously founder of JamLegend and a product manager at Zynga, describes the vision as a “Salesforce for executive assistants,” ultimately evolving into a suggestion engine that blends human judgment with automation. To support this roadmap, Esper has raised $2 million in outside capital.
