Eternal is an NFT marketplace focused on buying and selling serialized clips from game streamers, with a user interface similar to NBA Top Shot. The platform sells packs of clips from a network of partnered streamers and lets creators immortalize top Twitch clips and social media videos on-chain. Eternal is built by Zelos Gaming, led by co-founders Jeffrey Tong and Derek Chiang, and the team was previously backed by Y Combinator. The marketplace runs on Dapper Labs' Flow blockchain to simplify onboarding and trades in USD; the company said it plans to expand to additional blockchains next year. Eternal targets popular streamers operating in the top 0.05% on Twitch and aims to pair up-and-coming creators with established personalities to grow fan ownership. According to CryptoSlam, the marketplace processed about $300,000 in transactions this summer.
