eTheRNA develops immunotherapies based on its TriMix mRNA platform, which comprises three mRNAs encoding proteins that act together to boost immune responses. The company has also developed a proprietary lipid nanoparticle (LNP) platform to enable intravenous delivery of (neo)antigens, which combined with TriMix has shown broad preclinical and clinical applicability across major cancer types. eTheRNA plans to start clinical development of its internal programs for intravenous mRNA delivery and to explore partnering opportunities. Its technologies are being used in an eTheRNA-led international consortium working on a cross-strain protective SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccine for high-risk populations. The company will use the financing proceeds to continue development and commercialization of its proprietary mRNA technologies and a range of therapeutic products.
