EthicHub
Calle Bastero 13, Madrid, 28005, Spain
Overview
Ethichub operates a blockchain-based collaborative financing platform aimed at unbanked and underbanked farmers. The company has prototyped a valid, functional model that lowers farmers' borrowing costs (from above 100% annual in local informal lending to below 30% through Ethichub) and provides additional services. Ethichub will use new funding to develop additional functionalities, expand the number of small producers eligible for loans, and run a first pilot in a second country. The startup targets agricultural communities that previously relied on scarce local cash and very high‑cost informal loans. Ethichub is based in Madrid. CEO Jori Armbruster said the seed close provides the resources needed to scale the proposal and pursue global expansion.
