Etleap builds a platform that automates extract-transform-load (ETL) processes to simplify data integration for less technical end users. Delivered as a managed SaaS or runnable within customers' AWS accounts, the service handles managing, monitoring and operations of ETL pipelines. The company targets cloud data warehouses and is currently focused on the AWS ecosystem, with plans to expand beyond AWS in the future. Etleap launched five years ago as a Y Combinator company and spent roughly 2.5 years building the product before seeking funding. It announced a $1.5 million seed round to support growth. Its customer roster includes Okta, PagerDuty and Mode. The company has 15 employees and plans to at least double headcount in the next 12–18 months, primarily by growing its engineering team.
