Overview
ETNOWE connects African and Caribbean immigrants and second-generation consumers in the United States with local restaurants and grocery stores that provide culturally specific cuisine and staples. Founded by Nigerian-born entrepreneur Ebenezer Oyinlade, the company focuses on underserved ethnic food segments that mainstream delivery platforms overlook. Despite spending no money on marketing and having raised no prior capital, ETNOWE has organically processed thousands of orders and generated revenue from day one. With its new capital, the startup intends to scale to 100,000 users, onboard more than 200 restaurants and grocery stores, and bolster its engineering, growth, and operations teams over the next 12–18 months. ETNOWE operates in several U.S. states, targeting the $50 billion ethnic food and grocery market. The company emphasizes better economics for both consumers and merchants relative to larger incumbents. Management plans to pursue a larger institutional funding round in 2027 to further accelerate growth.
