EureCab operates a Paris-based comparative on-demand transport app that lets users compare rates from private drivers and taxis. The platform aggregates partner services including Uber, Marcel, SnapCar, LeCab, Felix, and Citybird alongside taxis so users can choose the cheapest option. EureCab counts 50,000 customers and more than 500 active drivers and is available across French cities including Paris, Lyon, Lille, Nantes, Nice, Bourdeaux, Strasbourg, Toulouse, and Marseille. The company launched its website in the summer of 2015 and released a mobile app at the end of 2017; the app displays expected arrival times from the outset and offers features such as driver blacklisting and favorites for five-star drivers. Drivers can set their own fares, routes, and schedules, and EureCab includes a loyalty system that surfaces favorite drivers to customers. The new €700k funding will be used to accelerate development, improve the app, form new partnerships, and expand marketing.
