Evasc Neurovascular Enterprises is a Vancouver-based medical device company focused on endovascular treatments for cerebral aneurysms. Its core product is eCLIPs, a patented endovascular device designed to treat 95% of cerebral aneurysm cases and targeted for challenging wide-neck bifurcations. eCLIPs received approval for use in Canada under the Special Access Program in 2013 and obtained CE mark approval in 2015. The device has been used to treat cerebral aneurysms in over 40 patients in Canada and in eight European countries. The company closed a CAD $10m Series A and has raised a total of CAD $27m to date. Led by Dr. Donald Ricci, President and Chief Executive Officer, Evasc will use the funds for further development and commercialization of its system.
