Eventmaker offers an all-in-one platform for B2B event organisers—corporate events, trade shows and congresses ranging from 100 to tens of thousands of participants—to manage sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, ticketing and participant welcome. Founded almost ten years ago, the company has built digitisation tools intended to adapt large professional events to online and hybrid formats. It closed a €1.3 million fundraising from business angels prior to the COVID-19 crisis and is now using those funds to accelerate development of digital versions of professional events. The product targets organisers who need video-transmission and webinar-like functionalities to share exhibitor content with their communities. Eventmaker positions its platform as a way for attendees to learn, find community, and engage collectively online while complementing in-person formats. Founder Tristan Verdier says organisers are pursuing 100% online or hybrid formats but that fully replacing in-person events is unlikely.
