Eventmaster offers technology solutions for ticketing, membership registration and fundraising across sports events, national governing bodies, charities and entertainment events. The platform supports over 3,000 events yearly and facilitates the sale of more than 1.5 million tickets annually. It provides technological support to national sports bodies including Athletics Ireland, Cycling Ireland and Canoeing Ireland, which collectively have around 250,000 members, and supports over 300 charities and clubs. Founded in 2010 by John Cleary and based in Limerick, Cleary remains Eventmaster’s CEO and majority shareholder. The company says it is the leading online registration platform for sports events in Ireland and serves major races such as the Dublin Marathon. Eventmaster plans to use new capital to boost sales and marketing, add hires, and extend the platform’s reach across Ireland and the UK.
