Overview

EverC builds AI-driven merchant and marketplace risk intelligence and automated risk management solutions for ecommerce and payment providers. It provides immediate and ongoing merchant risk intelligence for banks, acquirers, payment providers, and marketplaces. The company says its technology improves operational efficiency and helps payment providers and marketplaces manage fraud, scale, and illicit ecommerce activity. EverC recently announced an investment from the & Opportunity Fund and a strategic partnership with Kroll. Senior leaders of EverC and Kroll met in Israel in March 2023 and the companies plan to collaborate and share insights as the partnership develops. CEO Ariel Tiger said working closely with Kroll offers a significant competitive advantage as EverC builds its global brand. EverC develops AI- and machine‑learning‑driven online data intelligence products to detect and prevent electronic money laundering and transaction laundering. Its core products, MerchantView and MarketView, analyze insights from hundreds of millions of domains to surface hidden risks and help scale legitimate e‑commerce. The company says its solutions are used by top financial institutions and payment service providers, including Fortune 500 customers across North and South America, EMEA and Asia Pacific. EverC recently rebranded from EverCompliant to align its name with a broader mission to reduce online crime and empower e‑commerce growth. To meet rising demand driven by increased digital payments, it raised a $35 million Series B. The company highlights industry-scale problems it targets, estimating roughly $500 billion is laundered annually through fraudulent e‑commerce transactions and 6–10 million online merchants may be processing transactions without the knowledge or consent of the financial institutions they use. EverC is headquartered in New York City with offices in Tel Aviv and Shanghai and was founded by Ron Teicher, Noam Rabinovich and Raz Abramov. EverCompliant is a cyber intelligence company led by CEO Ron Teicher that provides a transaction laundering detection and prevention platform. Its flagship product, MerchantView™, applies proprietary cyber intelligence to detect and prevent unknown and hidden merchants funneling transactions through legitimate storefronts. The technology has been adopted by large-scale financial institutions and payment service providers in Asia, Europe, the U.S. and the Middle East, and is an approved MasterCard MMSP. The company is headquartered in Tel Aviv and also has an office in New York City. It plans to use new funding to accelerate growth, including opening an office in Asia in 2017, additional expansion in the U.S. and EU markets, and growth of its R&D operations. EverCompliant provides cyber intelligence and merchant fraud detection solutions for acquiring banks and payment service providers (PSPs). Led by CEO Ron Teicher, the company offers a product suite called MerchantView that helps acquirers and PSPs assess ongoing and newly boarded merchants. Its tools guide customers through managing online risk and detecting transaction launderers, hidden transaction tunnels and other fraud. On 27 May 2015 the company raised $3.5M in a Series A financing. EverCompliant said it will use the funding to further develop MerchantView and accelerate its global expansion. Investors in the round included Carmel Ventures, Nyca Partners and existing investor Joey Low from Star Farm Ventures.
