Overview
EverGen is Canada’s Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Infrastructure Platform focused on acquiring, developing, building, owning and operating RNG and related waste-to-energy infrastructure. Incorporated in 2020 and based in Vancouver, British Columbia, the company is starting in BC with plans to expand across North America. Its projects capture and clean biogas from feedstocks such as organic waste, agricultural waste and wastewater to produce sustainable or renewable natural gas. EverGen has acquired Sea to Sky Soils (Pemberton) and Net Zero Waste Abbotsford, both composting and organic processing facilities with municipal and commercial partnerships. Sea to Sky Soils operates on Lil’wat Nation land and has employed a majority of staff from the First Nation since inception. The company aims to 'infra-tize' Canada’s fragmented RNG industry to support utilities like FortisBC and to deliver long-term sustainable returns for investors and communities. EverGen recently completed a $17 million financing (see deal description) to pursue further acquisitions and project builds.
