Everpress, founded in 2016 by Alex Econs, is an e-commerce retail platform that enables creatives, illustrators and artists to design and sell clothing via campaign-based pre-order sales. The platform offers a full-service toolkit so creators can upload designs, choose garment types, set sale durations and prices, and launch campaigns globally. Its pre-order model is explicitly designed to eliminate excess stock and reduce waste in fashion. Since 2017 the company reports average revenue growth of 70% year-on-year, and headcount has grown from five employees in 2016 to over 40 today. Everpress has paid out more than £5 million to grassroots creators to date. The company says it will use the investment to scale global recognition of the platform and to grow its charitable giving through the Everpress Foundation.
