Evinced has previously raised $17M in 2021 and $38M in 2022 and has now completed a $55M Series C to fund growth. Leadership says many Fortune 500 companies are customers. Planned investments include building a generative AI product portfolio, expanding customer success capabilities, and launching local sales and support in Europe ahead of EAA enforcement in June 2025. Since last September its tooling supports mobile development as well as desktop browsers. The company targets enterprise customers, including top-10 financial institutions and major B2B SaaS firms, while remaining usable by smaller companies. Evinced aims to 'shift left' accessibility so it becomes a standard part of engineering workflows rather than an aftermarket overlay, and plans to expand its engineering organization to drive that goal. Evinced provides automated accessibility testing that analyzes websites and apps in production or during development. Its inspector uses AI-powered smart rules and computer vision to identify UI elements and accessibility issues in a fraction of a second, including in JavaScript-heavy web apps. The product is available as a Chrome extension, an API, and as automated integrations for build/commit workflows, and the company also offers an iOS app accessibility debugger. Evinced says it has paying enterprise customers with enterprise licenses and that its tools are deployed in production at Capital One, its largest customer and an investor. Capital One reported Evinced discovers as much as 10x more critical accessibility issues and can run up to 40x faster, reducing processing time from days to hours in some cases. The company formed in 2018 and has launched free tiers—including a community site scanner and free enterprise trials—to drive broader adoption.
