EvntLive is a web-based digital music venue that streams live and on-demand concerts and builds a curated archive of shows. The platform emphasizes interactivity and customization, offering multiple camera angles, feeds, social engagement, artist profiles and event pages with eventual e-commerce/ticketing. Its backend is built on the acquired Nubo9 technology and uses HTML5 with a fully decoupled front and back end, distributed processing and a cell-driven cloud architecture to scale performance. EvntLive will support tablets and smartphones via HTML5 at launch and plans native apps later, targeting big-name artists, mid-sized bands and the long tail over time. The company is in private beta with a full-scale launch planned in the coming months. Leadership includes Executive Chair and early investor Judy Estrin, founders David Carrico and Alex and Jonathan Beckman, and advisors/early investors such as Troy Carter. To date EvntLive has raised $2.3M in seed funding to fund early development.
