Evolutive Agronomy

Overview

Founded in May 2023 in Sophia Antipolis by INRAE researchers Dr Antoine Pasquier and Dr Lucie Monticelli, Evolutive Agronomy (EVA) converts public-research discoveries into market-ready biological solutions that protect and regenerate agricultural soils. Its flagship product, ByeNematode®, has been commercialised for a year and tackles root-knot nematodes that can wipe out vegetable yields. Backed by scientific validation and rigorous field trials, EVA positions its offerings as compatible with both conventional and organic farming. The company plans to scale production of its living biocontrol organisms, expand sales across France and abroad, and deepen R&D collaborations with INRAE. It has already won I-PhD, I-Lab and I-Nov innovation awards, highlighting both its scientific merit and economic potential. The recent €1.8 million financing supplies the capital needed to industrialise manufacturing, hire additional scientific and commercial talent, and move from pilot to full-scale deployment.
