EVUM Motors designs and manufactures robust all-electric utility vehicles, including its aCar commercial vehicle. Founded as a Technical University of Munich spin‑off in 2017, the Munich‑headquartered company operates a production facility in Bayerbach. The aCar entered production at the end of 2020 and uses parts from well‑known European manufacturers. EVUM has delivered nearly 1,000 vehicles to niche markets such as municipalities, agriculture, and industry. The company targets electrification of utility fleets and originally built the aCar concept for Africa and other emerging markets. Management plans to expand production capacity, sales and service footprint across Germany and Europe and to develop smart energy solutions for its vehicles.
