Exact Imaging is a Toronto-based medical device company focused on high-resolution micro-ultrasound technology for urologic imaging. Its flagship product, the ExactVu™ prostate biopsy platform, is built on a portfolio of more than 100 patents and is designed to improve prostate cancer detection accuracy. The company has achieved notable clinical validation, including publication of its OPTIMUM study in JAMA showing non-inferiority to MRI-fusion biopsy in biopsy-naïve men; the results were highlighted in the “Game Changer” session at the European Association of Urology Congress. Commercially, Exact Imaging has established over 300 customer installations worldwide and expanded its distribution network across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Recent initiatives include launching a dedicated North American salesforce and signing additional international distributors.
