Exceptional Innovation (EI) develops and delivers the iQx platform and integrated IQ solutions to provide high-speed internet access, in-room entertainment content, and guest-facing services to the hospitality industry. The Group offers equipment financing and managed services through its brands SmarTV, Quadriga and interTouch, now collectively operating as interTouch Quadriga (iQ), while Nomadix remains a separate supplier subsidiary. EI says the combined group services over 1.4 million guestrooms worldwide and will leverage an investment partner’s satellite and fiber network assets, extensive TV/video content library, location-based advertising platform and a US TV broadcast license. The company secured a $75 million equity investment to pay off acquisition debt and provide operating capital, and arranged a $200 million working-capital facility to finance customer equipment, system upgrades, new solutions purchases and future acquisitions. Management and divisional ownership of intellectual property will remain unchanged as EI accelerates roll-out of its technology platform and integrated solutions.
