Executive Employers is a New York City-based recruiting firm that helps senior executives secure leadership, advisory and board roles across corporations, nonprofits and Fortune 500 companies. Founded in 2012 and launched publicly in 2014, it operates a competitive placement process in which multiple recruiters across its network vie to find the best match for each executive's skills and experience. The company currently has more than 4,000 recruiters, over 50,000 senior executives in its network and employs 30 people. It recently raised $6.5M in venture capital funding led by Agile Capital Partners, with participation from undisclosed angel investors. Executive Employers plans to use the proceeds to expand operations by hiring staff and extending its network of recruiters, executives and employers. Management aims to boost the company's value to around $50M as part of its growth strategy.
