Exinda builds application performance and network orchestration solutions designed to help IT teams manage how users, traffic, devices and applications behave across networks. The company says its products enable customers to understand application types running on their networks and to orchestrate networks to match business needs. More than 4,000 customers use Exinda’s solutions. Wellington Financial recently provided a US$10 million growth capital facility to support the company’s continued expansion. Wellington cited consistent growth in both revenue and profitability under Exinda’s leadership team. OpenView Venture Partners and Greenspring Associates are identified as Exinda’s lead equity backers. Exinda develops WAN optimization and application acceleration products that incorporate Unified Performance Management. Its performance assurance technology introduces user and application profiling, targeting 52 user and application attributes for precision traffic optimization. The company’s solutions aim to improve end-user experience, manage application performance, and reduce network operating costs while enabling branch-office consolidated applications over the WAN. Exinda reports having helped over 2,500 organizations in more than 80 countries. The company recorded a 116% increase in revenues during 2011. It plans to use new funding to support continued market penetration, targeted growth and to escalate international sales operations while strengthening financial stability to execute an aggressive growth strategy.
