Exos Financial builds a data-enabled institutional finance platform designed to deliver the full suite of investment banking services in a modern and interconnected way. The company was founded in the United States in 2018 by a team of financial services professionals and data experts led by Brady Dougan, former global CEO of Credit Suisse. Exos has incubated a number of technologies through Exos Technology Ventures with plans to commercialize them alongside its banking services. Its first incubated product, Claira, is a next-generation NLP tool that digitizes legacy financial documents and is described as post-revenue. Exos is pursuing a Series B expected to total $100-$200 million to accelerate growth both organically and through acquisitions; Hamilton Global Opportunities invested $3 million as part of that round. The funding is intended to support scaling the platform, commercializing technologies, and pursuing acquisitions.
