Exosystems is a Seoul, South Korea-based AI digital healthcare company led by CEO Lee Hoo-man that offers a digital care solution combining a wearable medical device and a connected user app. The wearable sensor analyzes digital biomarkers related to musculoskeletal disorders and, together with digital treatment software including behavioral intervention components, provides exercise program recommendations or electrical stimulation therapy. The technology has been verified through clinical research conducted with Seoul National University Bundang Hospital and other Korean medical institutions. The device and its technologies have regulatory approvals from the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and CE-MDD in Europe. Exosystems raised USD 3.9m in a Series A and has now raised a total of USD 4.5m in funding. The company intends to use the funds to expand clinical and technical capabilities and grow its overseas business.
