Overview

Eyeota is an audience data provider that sells audience data to advertisers globally. The company was founded in 2010 in Singapore and emphasizes high-quality data, which it often buys directly from publishers. CEO Kevin Tan says the firm has been expanding into the United States, where growth has exceeded expectations and opened opportunities amid market consolidation. Eyeota has been productizing features it already supported, including distribution for data partners and tools for onboarding offline data. The founding team previously worked at Cox-acquired Adify and initially self-funded the company's growth before outside rounds. Financially, Eyeota has now raised more than $22 million and is using new financing to support further growth and product expansion. Eyeota builds an audience-data platform and has created profiles for 1.5 billion consumers worldwide, capturing demographics, past purchases, and media-use signals. Its data is gathered from more than 30,000 publishers, e-commerce sites, and telecoms, plus offline sources and partners such as Experian and Roy Morgan Research. Clients include the largest media holding companies (WPP, Omnicom, Dentsu Aegis Network, Publicis, Interpublic, and Havas) and about 5,000 advertisers. Founded in 2010 by Kevin Tan and other former Adify executives, the company is based in Singapore and also has offices in Sydney and Tokyo. Eyeota says it competes with Oracle Data Cloud, Nielsen, and LiveRamp and positions its edge as stronger audience data across Asia, Europe, and Australia. The company plans to continue expanding its platform and international presence to better integrate with media-buying platforms and address changes in the ad-tech ecosystem.
